Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year to y'all!  We had grandma and grandpa Sitko, Nanna, and Fred over for New Year's Eve - but they didn't make it till midnight :)  We had delicious little Mexican tacos that Mom makes, then played a bunch of rounds of ping pong, and watched a movie called "Eight Below".  I can't tell you how entertaining it is to watch Nanna and Fred play ping pong!  They all left after the movie - then Mom, Dad and Hannah went to bed and me and Caleb watched about half of the movie "Thor" (the first Thor) until we couldn't keep our eyes open any longer :)  Here are some pics of the fun night!

Christmas Mice!

So, last night we were getting out Christmas decorations and putting up the tree.  We got the angel out once the tree was done - and she was covered in fuzz and seeds.  Well, of course that means that mice are living in our boxes :)  The boys dug around in the one the angel was in and found a giant pile of feed and seeds - probably about 4 or 5 cups worth.  Then Mom said "it's probably still in there!" - and right as she said it a mouse scurried across the box.  Mom screamed like a little girl but them decided it wasn't scary and ran to get the camera - "a Christmas blogging moment" she said.  The boys caught it in an old shoe box and took it away.  Here are some pics of the excitement!

4th of July Party!

Yesterday we went to our friend's house with the whole church to celebrate Independence Day!  We had dinner and then all us kids played bucket ball!  It was SO much fun!  And we all took a ton of photos - some of these my friends (Sabrina and Hallie) took - and my Mom took most of the ones of the bucket ball game for me :)  Then after that, our family and two other families went up to Florence to see the fireworks!
