Mom's New Horse

Mom just got a new horse yesterday!  I don't know if I told you but she sold Ace quite awhile ago and has been trying to deal with Quatahn all this time.  He is just not a good match for her - both of them are high strung and feed off each others nervousness.  So she sold him (someone is coming around the 28th to pick him up) and was looking around for a good horse.  Her friend Tammy told her about this red roan that was for sale.  Her registered name is Crushem Up - but the lady's kids couldn't say crush so she's called crunch :)

So she's extremely fat right now - as mom works her she'll shed quite a bit of weight.  She's just a great rock solid horse - mom needs that right now.  We took her up to the Sapphire arena for the first time and she was totally calm.  She's got some good training but it's not quite our style, but she's smart and coming along well.  We'll be going on some more rides and now mom will be having more fun!  Also part of the reason she bought her was because when Apache gets back she'll need 30 to 60 days of consistent rides, and she needs a calm horse to go out with.  Taking a baby out with Quatahn is a recipe for disaster! :) lol
